Dual launch for Elemental Herbology

Elemental Herbology has launched two new products – a hand and nail repair cream and a lip balm.

For use by all skin types, ‘Hand Nutrition’ features omegas 3 6 & 9 and aromatic plant oils to help nourish dry and sun-damaged hands.

The cream features diacetyl boldine, which originates from Chilean boldo tree bark encased in soya lecithin micro-liposomes to reduce pigmentation. Malic acid and apple pectins combine to lock in moisture for up to 24 hours, while antioxidant thermus thermophilus ferment protects skin from harmful heat and UV rays. It is a bacterium that originates and thrives in the extreme heat of deep sea hydrothermal vents.

Active ingredients include pea extract, apricot butter and keratin, while argan oil from Morocco, rose hip oil from Chile and organic sacha inchi oil from Peru are also used in the formula.

The second product, ‘Nutritive Lip Complex’, uses natural plant peptides to help plump lips while nourishing bio-oils have hydrating and soothing effects.

Active ingredients include calendula oil, which helps to soothe dry and aggravated skin by reducing inflammation, while mango and shea butter help to seal moisture into the lip and to improve the barrier function to protect against wind and cold. Beeswax and honey improve texture and hydration.
